CODE
OF CONDUCT
As a CRO Forum Member, I Agree
to the Following:
1. Arrange my schedule so
that I will show up for and leave, meetings in a timely manner. I
will arrive 15 minutes before the meeting starts for breakfast snacks and
friendly conversation.
2. Abide by the terms of
the Confidentiality Agreement, which requires me to maintain the confidences
of any matters brought forth by CRO Forum members.
3. Engage in dialogue.
This means that I will help create a “safe place” for communicating amongst
CRO Forum members. I understand that it is not my role to judge nor
criticize but rather to support the development of fellow members.
I will engage in “active listening” and not interrupt a fellow member.
When it is my turn to speak I will be cognizant of my obligation to add
value to any discussion and not to run on unnecessarily. If the consensus
of members is to “move on” on any particular issue I will willingly go
along with that decision.
4. To be regular in my attendance.
I understand that missing two meeting within a twelve–month period becomes
a group issue. I understand that if I miss three meetings within
a twelve-month period that the members may elect to remove me from the
CRO Forum. I understand that if I am removed for non-attendance that
I forfeit any dues.
5. I will come to meetings
prepared to contribute and to challenge fellow members.
6. To be prompt in the payment
of any dues or fees associated with CRO Forum membership.
7. To turn off any telephone
ringers or pagers and put them on vibrate mode if necessary during the
meeting.
8. Do my best effort to follow-up
on those Action Items that I committed to during CRO Forum attendance.
9. Only sponsor as a member,
guest or speaker those persons who are truly qualified. I understand
that the CRO Forum is designed for senior professionals in human resource
who are strategic partners to their companies.
10. To take my turn sponsoring
a CRO Forum meeting at my company.
11. Be fun and have fun!
